Chevrolet/GMC 1500 Pickup 4WD 4" High Clearance System 2007-Present
Front IFS System Rear Leaf Springs This new high clearance design is a true blend of performance, appearance, and function. The suspension geometry creates an OE style ride with a desert racing appearance. These high arched crossmembers blend perfectly with the lower control arm angles to give a truly OE appearance while lifting your vehicle a full 4” and increasing ground clearance at the front crossmember by 91%. The custom valved front BDS struts are designed to handle increased tire & wheel weight, without sacrificing ride quality. A new front skid plate and differential skid plate are included for extreme off road protection. This option also includes new BDS Glide-Ride rear leaf springs.
Note: Strut compressor required for installation. This system will not fit 2007 Classic models. Installation of the optional rear leaf springs requires removal of the fuel tank. Requires frame bracket modification. Less trimming is required if 20" x 9" Wheels with 5-3/4" backspacing are used. Denali/AWD models will require a new CV style front driveshaft. Will not fit 2009-2011 Two Mode Hybrid models with Electronic Power Steering.
