- Allows fitting of up to 33" tires (285/70 x 17) on stock offset wheels, 32" on aftermarket wheels with similar to stock offset (always test fit tire and wheel package).
- Increases ground clearance over traditional bracket type lift kits even without the use of larger wheels and tires for those interested in getting the most out of their truck for recreational or construction use.
- Ride Quality - Does not change preload and maintains the stock smooth ride. Other kits get their lift from increasing preload on the spring. This means that the ride is harsher and less compliant. This is a big issue for many consumers.
- Installation requires no disassembly of the strut.Other kits require the disassembly of the strut in order to install their kit. This means that a strut compressor is required (special tools) which not every shop has. Also, if the strut is reassembled slightly crooked (no positive indexing on the strut!) then the assembly will have to be disassembled and straightened. This happens fairly often. Because of the strut disassembly/reassembly the installation time is about DOUBLE that of this kit.
- Does not require any after installation maintenance (no need to re-torque the mounting bolts ) Other kits must be re-torqued after 6-12,000 miles because of its polyurethane construction (plastic flexes under load).
