Kit Contents:
Front: Knuckle adapters, differential drop brackets, front and rear crossmember drop brackets, bumpstop extension brackets, brakeline brackets, and sway-bar drop brackets.

Rear: Bumpstop extension brackets, brake line proportioning valve bracket, 4" lifted blocks, and u-bolts.

Shocks: (4) Premium N3 series shocks.

Give your 89-95 Toyota Pickup an aggressive new look and unparalleled off-road performance with Rough Country's 4-5 inch Suspension Lift. This all-inclusive kit features everything needed to take your Pickup off the freeway and onto the trails.

Featuring a set of durable knuckles adapters, you'll gain enough ride height to run up to 33-inch tires with proper wheel spacing! A set of differential drop brackets, sway-bar brackets, and bump stop brackets are provided to keep everything at optimum angles for a factory-like ride, even after lifting. A 3-piece front and rear steel crossmember bring uncompromising strength and good looks to your truck. Our Fabricated Rear Blocks offer considerably more strength than their cast iron counterparts.

A set of Rough Country's premium N3 shocks are also included in this kit. These fine tuned 10-stage variable high-pressure Nitrogen charged shocks offer a fantastic blend of off-road action and smooth highway ride quality. Though production ceased nearly 20 years ago, the Jeep XJ remains one of the most popular 4x4 SUV's in the off-road market, but despite its classic design and fan-favorite status, there's still room for improvement.

The XJ's rear upper shock mount bolts are notorious for breaking off due to the bar pin system and age of the vehicle. When this bolt breaks, there is no way to secure a shock or bar pin eliminator. This can cause a lot of frustration, especially if you're installing a lift kit and encounter this problem near the end of the install.

Rough Country's XJ Rear Bar Pin Flag Nut eliminates this problem, offering a much easier system for replacing the broken bolt and lining everything up correctly. To install, simply knock out the factory nuts welded in the unibody, slide Rough Country's Bar Pin Flag Nut into the unibody hole, and use the flag nut handle to easily line up your new mounting point within the unibody recess. This innovative design saves hours of undue stress and makes it much easier to mount a shock or bar pin eliminator. Plus, if you manage to break a bolt on Rough Country's XJ Bar Pin Flag Nut kit, it is much easier to replace. Ships with new hardware and instructions.

BDS Suspension introduces a revolutionary spring loaded traction bar system engineered to improve traction and limit axle wrap without negatively affecting suspension travel or ride quality. These next generation RECOIL traction bars offer you the freedom to tune the spring tension for optimal performance on-road, off-road, towing, or competition pulling. These traction bars can be used on stock height or lifted trucks and work with both lift blocks and replacement leaf spring kits. They use a full floating design that won't bind up allowing the full range of wheel travel without limiting articulation.

The RECOIL traction bars mount to the vehicle using fabricated 1/4" steel brackets. Bracket kits are vehicle specific. The frame brackets install by drilling mounting holes for the brackets while the axle brackets install using a set of u-bolts. The traction bars and mounting brackets use a durable gloss black powdercoat finish.

These new RECOIL traction bars are built to the highest standards featuring quick and easy adjustment while installed on the vehicle. To adjust spring tension, use the supplied spanner wrenches at the axle to loosen the jam nut. From there the main bar can be rotated to load or unload the springs at the frame side of the bar. Using the concave end of the wrench handle against the frame end check the location of the end of the main bar in relation to the notches on the wrench to verify the load on the springs, the shorter the distance the more loaded the springs are. Repeat this process on the other traction bar and use the wrenches to tighten down the jam nuts and you are ready to go!
