Ford Excursion FOX 2.0 Performance Series 4" Rear Shocks (Pair) 2000-2005

Features:

Cold-forged, metal-impacted 6061 T6 aluminum shock body dissipates heat three times faster than a conventional steel body shock. The 2.0 Performance Series shock runs as cool as a 2.5 diameter shock on the same application.
FOX Racing Shox formulated race shock oil developed for ultimate performance at variable temperatures.
CNC machined aluminum components are Type II hard anodized to a scratch- and fade-free finish.
Heavy-duty 5/8" chrome shafts are induction case hardened to over 55 Rockwell C, virtually eliminating scratches caused by rust and debris.
These shocks are designed to be used with BDS Suspension lifts but may also work with other brand lifts. Please see specs for details or contact us.

Ford F250/F350/Excursion 6" Suspension Lift Kit

The launch of the all new Ford Super Duty in 2001 brought a frenzy of excitement to Blue Oval truck enthusiasts. A new diesel motor and a new solid axle front suspension lent itself to ease of modification and RCD Suspension capitalized on this new and popular platform. 2005 brought a whole new platform, eliminating the poor riding leaf springs and puffing coils and radius arms in their place. RCO Suspension engineers capitalized on this and put together three systems, 2’ Leveling, 4” Standard, and the premium 6’ Long Arm 4 Link Conversion Kit. RCD Suspension continues to produce systems for most F-250 / F-350 models from 2001 through 2008 model years.

Custom tuned Bilstein 5100 Series monotube gas shocks
Heavy duty 1/4” thick mounting brackets provide enhanced strength and alignment characteristics
3/8” plate steel extreme duty track bar drop bracket eliminates bump steer and provides the ultimate in strength and durability
Forged steel drop pitman arm maintains precise steering geometry
Extended sway bar links provide factory mounting locations and proper sway bar function
Stainless steel extended front brake lines
Unique “Gator Black” polyurethane powder coat finish
Grade 8 hardware for reliability

Notes:
Will NOT work with Air Ride or Electronic Suspension Systems
Recalibration of the speedometer, ABS and stability control systems will be required
Vehicles equipped with two-piece driveline may require Drive Shaft Support Drop Down Bracket for the factory carrier bearing. See below.
Rear ride height may vary on certain models depending on the height of the factory block. Additional rear lift may be required on certain models.
System will not fit on vehicles manufactured prior to 4/1/1999 or with 14mm trac-bar bolt.

Max Tire Size:
35” x 12.5” Minor fender/bumper trimming may be required
Backspacing:
17" & larger x 8" - 4.625" backspacing

Unlike a typical add-a-leaf leveling kit, this 5 leaf mini pack acheives most of the lift from the thickness of the pack rather than re-arching the OE leaf pack. This means that ride quality will be maintained while leveling your vehicle. However, once a load is applied the new mini pack will kick in to help support those heavy loads. This mini-pack will achieve approxiamtely 2.5" of lift on a Super Duty and 4" of lift on an Excursion.
