Jeep Wrangler Exhaust Extension Kit 2012-2015

Specifically designed for the 2012 JKs with the new Pentastar 3.6L engines, this exhaust extension kit creates more clearance between the exhaust crosspipe and front driveshaft for vehicles with a suspension lift. The extensions are precision machined from 2-1/2" x 1/4" wall DOM tubing to fit the factory ball/taper seat connection properly for a leak-proof seal. Thick-walled tubing is used to ensure the extension will not deform under extreme heat conditions. Longer hardware is included to compensate for the added extension length and the ability to reuse the factory clamp collars. This kit was designed around the BDS 3" kit front shocks. These shocks allow for the maximum amount of suspension droop before the front driveshaft joint at the transfer case is maxed out. These extensions will work equally as well with other similar 2-3" lifts on the market. This is a must when trying to run the stock front driveshaft with extended length front shocks. 

For BDS lift heights of 4.5" and up, the front driveshaft should be replaced for proper clearance as well as increased range of motion at the transfer case end.
