Hypertech Speedometer Calibrator 2009-2010

Hypertech’s Speedometer Calibrator can correct the speedometer and odometer for tire sizes from 22.5"-44" and gear ratios from 2.82:1-5.13:1. This new device is engineered for consumers that want the speedometer recalibration functions of the Max Energy Programmer without the additional expense of the other tuning features. The Speedometer Calibrator comes with a USB cable and a CD containing software to enable quick updates and upgrades over the internet. For an additional charge, the Speedometer Calibrator can be upgraded to a Max Energy Power Programmer via the internet to include all the Max Energy features available for that vehicle.

Simply plug Hypertech's Speedometer Calibrator into the vehicles under-dash connector, select the new tire height and/or new rear gear ratio, and in a matter of minutes, the vehicle's computer is reprogrammed for accurate readings (as required by law).

In order to increase engine efficiency, horsepower and torque, our engineers optimize the spark and fuel curves point by point over the entire rpm band. With the additional power and optimized transmission functions, drivers use less fuel to accelerate and maintain cruising speeds without the torque converter un-locking and transmission down-shifting to a lower gear.
