This short shaft slip yoke eliminator kit shortens the T-case allowing you to run a 4" longer CV style driveshaft. Combined with a CV style drive shaft (sold separately) it helps eliminate driveline vibration and friction from the factory slip yoke design. It also improves driveline angles and eliminates, in most cases the need for a transfercase lowering kit. Ground clearance is improved since the skid plate is not lowered. The new mainshaft is 20% larger than factory and can take the added torque of 4 to 1 conversions, additional horsepower, and larger tires. This kit fits all 231 equipped YJ's and TJ's. It also fits XJ's with manual transmissions.
