JKS Jeep Wrangler JK Front Coil-Over Kit 07-17

Features:

Complete bolt on bracket system to convert the front JKS coil spring suspension to a coil-over
Bracket system designed to accommodate Fox 2.5 coil-overs. Everyone else uses 2.0s
Fox coil-overs are valved specifically for the JKS system and utilize the DSC adjustment for up to 25% range of adjustment to compression dampening
Fox coil-overs are loaded with a dual range spring setup that allows for optimized ride quality, articulation, and load carrying capacity.
The bracket design mounts off factory brackets (after some trimming) for precise location. The new coil-over bracket includes an integrated reservoir mount.
All brackets powder coated the signature JKS semi-gloss black and include the popular stainless steel JKS mountain logo.

Notes:

Designed for use with most 2"-3.5" lift systems
Requires a minimum of 1-1/4" of bump stop extension (for factory bumps). Can be purchased (#JKS1112).
OE frame bracket trimming and hole drilling required
Depending on tire/wheel combination, steering stop adjustment may be required
Will not work with lower control arm adjustment cams (fixed or eccentric). Requires replacement lower control arms if caster adjustment is needed.
07-11 models require replacement front brake lines - 2012-up factory brake lines can be used.

Jeep Wrangler Front Shock Relocation 2007-2014

Shock Relocation brackets rotate the lower bushing mount position 90 degrees from factory which allow the shock bushings to move in a more natural rotation and not rely as much on the bushing misalignment. This means more bind-free movement during maximum axle articulation. Once relocated, the upper shock stem alignment will be more neutral when used with suspension systems of 4" lift or greater.

Shifting the lower mount outboard approximately 2" also creates more clearance between the frame and shock body. This is especially beneficial when running larger body aftermarket shocks and taller, high-articulation suspension systems where the shocks mounted in the stock location can hit the frame.

This bracket maintains the same dual-shear design as the factory mount and is dimensionally the same so any aftermarket shock designed for the JK will fit.

Jeep Wrangler Rear Shock Relocation 2007-2014

The new mounting brackets are made of ¼" steel and include a dual-shear shock mount and new sway bar link mount. Also integrated is a control arm mount skid plate. Installtion is bolt on and requires the removal of the factory axle shock mounts, sway bar link mounts and trimming of the control arm mount.

After installation, there is a gain of 2" in ground clearance. The shock mounts are moved up 2-1/4" from the factory position and the sway bar mount moves up 1-3/4".

Changing the lower shock position changes extension/compression limits of the suspension. Without making any additional adjustments the suspension would have more extension and less compression with the installation of this bracket kit. One or more of the following modifications will most likely be necessary.

-Taller/relocated bump stops: These must be sufficient to avoid the shock bottoming out during compression.

- Coil spring retainers: The factory rear coil spring mounts have no mechanical means of retaining the rear coil springs. The coils are retained by preload which is dictated by the shock length at full extension.

- New shocks: Depending on the suspension setup and/or existing shock specs, it may be necessary to replace the rear shocks with a set having extend/collapsed lenghts more suited for the relocated mounts. (Varies depending on suspension system and shocks installed)

- Depending on the suspension system installed, sway bar link length may need to be modified/adjusted.

- Trimming of the factory lower control arm mounts and removal of the factory shock and sway bar mounts is required.

- May require extended brake lines or brake line relocation.

- May not be compatible with some aftermarket sway bars.
