Chevrolet/GMC 1500HD/2500 Avalanche/Yukon/Suburban 4"-6" Suspension Lift Kit

The Chevrolet & GMC 8-lug IFS chassis has been a mainstay for over two decades and continues to be the most popular application in the light truck market. Although we have seen many body style and suspension refinements over the years, the basic GM IFS system has proven time and again to put forth one of the best handling and best riding chassis available to modify. RCD Suspension, with its industry leading sub-frame and spindle technology, has capitalized on this platform to produce a high quality product that exceeds even the most discerning customer’s needs. RCD Suspension continues to produce these systems for all 1988 through 2008 GM IFS truck and SUV models.

CNC machined replacement cast iron steering knuckles
T-6 billet aluminum axle spacers
Zinc plated billet steel "Super Flex" sway bar end links
No drive shaft modifications necessary for installation
Bilstein 5100 Series Shock Absorbers

For use on Standard Torsion Bar Suspension, Non Delphi Auto

Max Tire Size:
33" x 12.5" w/no modifications
35" and larger x 12.5" requires minor bumper and fender trimming

Notes:
For vehicles manufactured after 08/2000 with large tie rod ends.
For vehicles manufactured before 08/2000 upgrade to the large tie rod ends required.
Recalibration of the speedometer, ABS and stability control systems (if applicable) will be required.
Must enlarge lower control arm sway bar end link mounting hole to 3/4".
Will not work on vehicles equipped with rear steering.
Will NOT work with Air Ride or Electronic Suspension Systems (Use part #10-41810)
Some models may require exhaust modification to clear the front drive shaft.

The Chevrolet & GMC SUV models have been at the top of their game in quality and performance for quite some time. Like their pickup counterparts, these vehicles share many similarities, especially in the front end IFS platform. That is about where the similarities end in later model applications and RCD Suspension is one of the few companies offering applications to fit nearly all different models. Common on late model 6-lug applications is a rear coil spring 5 link set up in which RCD Suspension retains all features as standard including air ride and auto ride features. RCD Suspension continues to produce these systems for all 1992 through 2008 GM SUV models.

This lift kit is the newest available for the 2000 - 2010 Chevrolet Suburban 2500HD. (See other applications below.) The kit lifts the front of the truck 3" and the rear up an average of 2". (Actual lift height depends on the condition of the current leaf pack.) This gives you a lifted look without the hassle and expense of a conventional drop bracket kit.

The kit installs in 2-3 hours, and can be installed with hand tools. We supply a complete kit, with instructions, alignment specs and dedicated support.

The rear add-a-leaf springs are great for towing or hauling and actually increase your load capacity by 900 - 1,200 lbs.

This kit lifts the rear of your Chevy or GMC truck by 2" and comes with longer u-bolts. The 2" aluminum tapered blocks are a great way to lift the rear of your truck for towing or hauling. The blocks are 2" tall (tapered) and 2.5" wide.

The u-bolts are 9/16" diameter, are 11.5" long by 2.5" wide and have a square bend. This kit is designed for Chevy 8-LUG trucks with a 2.5" wide rear leaf spring. The customer is solely responsible for ordereing the correct u-bolts for their vehicle.
